The are loads of benefits to using an API copier with its own UI (user interface) over a normal MT4 copier. Here are some: cross platform compatibility, copying from a slow platform (MT4/5) to one that is much faster and has better trading conditions (ctrader or any other supported fix api platform). If you really have an HFT system on MT4 that you want to copy, unnecessary to copy to slow MT4...you can copy it to another faster execution platform. Many running MT4 on one windows user causes the MT4 to lag and freeze, especially with many open trades, including on a huge dedicated servers, and multiple win users are created to add more groups of MT4, whereas with this API copier should save on your server or vps resources. Having one UI to manage all your copy accounts and their logs is a lot easier than going through and login to all separate accounts. Its far more advanced than a simple mt4 copier. Anyone managing a lot of accounts or copying between many accounts, or prefers trading on other platforms but wants to copy back to MT4/5, should be using an API copier similar to this one...but they expensive and have license limitations (1 computer) so here we have a chance of unlimited use at low CB price.

I believe its already configured with all existing popular broker servers. They will have many institutional or manager clients that use this and pushing them to contnually add more broker / prop firm servers. What you referring to would be the basics of this copier...so I'd be shocked if they don't. Could also check with them directly if they have a specific prop linked.

 

Answer is yes, any mt4 to any mt4, along with many other platforms (i havent seen a detailed list). But if you have some no name broker that has just hit the market, then the vendor would need some message to tell them to add this new firm.

 

Most of them use EightCap & the issue I have is EightCap live is in Tokyo or Hong Kong, and every other broker I use, including eightcaps own demo servers are elsewhere. I am getting faster latency to eightcap live from my own computer at home in the US than I am from my VPS which is located right where my personal account is, but to non-eightcap accounts, the VPS is infinitely faster. Since the collection of prop firms using eightcap is increasing (fundedtraderplus, surgertrader, FCFF) I'll need to revise my strategy / VPS locations. It would really be nice if eightcap had a demo server in the same city as their live, but they don't.

 

But if that new no name broker isn't on the list, and can provide fix api to a popular platform (too many to list) and possibly mt4 api too, then most likely still be able to copy to that new no name broker. However as said, the Vendor will be adding new broker / prop servers as notified...ICMarkets adds new mt4 servers every month so this is normal procedure for myfxbook and copiers that use api to connect.

 

Okay yes i understand...its silly for broker especially prop firms to have demo server in different city location to live.
